Colors and How They Make Me Feel

This is a project that I have been working on for the first half of the semester. I chose ten colors, recorded how they made me feel, and then found a black and white image that made me feel the same way. After this, I created an original piece that was a response to the feeling.

Pink- Nostalgia

Cyan- Free and Open

 Black- Depth

Blue- Claustrophobic

Yellow- Optimistic

Green- Chaotic

Purple- Alone

Orange- Compelling Danger

Red- Shattering

White- Free

The Stories We Used to Know

This was one of my favorite things to see from the trip. The Sinagua people who lived in the area believed that the cracks in the rock were the entrances and exits to the place of the dead. Spirits could come and go as they please. This glyph shows a funeral procession with the dead soul being thrown into the crack in the rock- to the place of the dead.
